PDF Search engine is a vital tool in today’s e-generation. Gone are the days when we frequented our library to look for books we need and stay long hours scanning through its pages . Now, looking for an ebook is just a fingertip away. Our PC and laptop are our virtual mobile library. If you want to search pdf files for a certain book, just type the desired topic or book title . I am back!

We just arrived from a week of vacation.Jet lag has taken over me and my head is still spinning round. Watching Movies can never be this fun!

Others may contest it but me and my family really loves to watch movie whenever we have our bonding time. We make it a point to look for good and fun movies for our family and spend a wonderful time together. Often, we have our movie marathon and our kids would look forward to it. This is our way of distressing ourselves from all the day’s work and enjoys our bonding moment.

But we notice that buying five DVD’s a week would cost us quite a lot nowadays. So me and my hubby talked about it and discussed how we can find other ways to spend quality time with our kids without the crunch on our pockets. TCP : On Magical Movies

We are a family who loves to watch movies , that is why I love Tuesday Couch Potatoes. My top on the list on this week’s theme “ Magical Movies” is THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA. I guess everybody loves the fictional realm of Narnia, a place where animals talk, magic is common, and good battles evil. I love the role of the Lion Aslan who helped solved the crisis in the world of Narnia. C. S. Lewis , a known Christian Author did a good job in bringing his novel to the big screen. Telling your kids about Jesus , our Savior would be lot easier through this movie. Thumps up!

My Bath Robe

Would you believe I still had the bath robe from our wedding honeymoon? That was almost 15 yrs. ago. I kept it in our wedding memorabilia box. It’s a peach laced satin bathrobe ( peach was our wedding motif) . My mom bought it a day before our wedding. I was so busy and excited for the big event that I forgot to buy one of the most important wedding night apparel. Thanks to mom!

I love wearing bath robe whenever I am home. Yes! Normaly it is worn after taking a bath to keep us dry and warm but I love wearing silk and satin bathrobes while couching at our bed reading or watching TV . I feel comfortable with it.

Talking about bath robes , I came across a site which offers bath robes of different designs, styles, fabrics, sizes and colors . I found terry bath robe and towel wrap at Posylane.com .Another one that looks stylish is waffle bath robe. Hmmm.. looks like I have lots to choose from this site.

No tantrums

Ohhh... I wish can never be absent this week's meme on MOMMY MOMENTS! I tried browsing my files for pictures of my kids having tantrums ( its the theme of the week)... but I can't find one. This is not to boast but my kids seldom had tantrums. In a rate of 1-10.. I would rate them 2. I have known many friends whose kids are delicate and easily irritated but Praise GOD mine are not. Ooopppss... they are not abnormals huh! God made them that way...

I greatly Thank God for saving my sister-in-law from a fatal incident. Her schedule for Ceasarian Operation supposedly was end of October but she was rushed to the hospital last night due to labor pains. It was only then that we learned that her fluid were almost zero . She needed to be operated right away to save both their lives. Praise God everything went well. We greatly thank those people who prayed with us and most specially to God who made everything successful.

Online games

Unlike other children who are hook with online games , my son play occasionally. As parents, we are very strict when it comes to his computer and internet usage. During school days, the computer is for official and school usage only . They are only allowed to use on weekends but on a regulated hours ( Maximum is 2 hours ). My son has a scholarship to maintain so we are very firm with our rules when it comes to internet usage. The latest game he joined these days is free online RPG. We check it out and learned that it is a free medieval/fantasy themed role playing game that allows players to perform quests, battle monsters and beasts, fight other players, place bounties, and more. Hmmm… I have yet tell my hubby about this yet.

45 minutes drive

Whew! I had a hard time these days doing rounds for my kids. Hubby went for an out of town trip and I am left bringing and fetching the kids from school. With the traffic and super heavy school bags, it’s so hard taking the public transportation. Our subdivision is just 8 km away from school but it took us 45 minutes to arrive home ( sob!). How I wish I have the courage to drive the car. Being too dependent to our husband is a drawback …. sometimes.

Yes! As long as we live we encounter problems. Some big and frightening others are small and irritating! The problems we encounter will either overpower us or build us up depending on how we react to them. Most people fail to see that GOD wants to use problems for the moulding of our lives, to strengthen us , to be more faithful to Him. They react foolishly and hate their problems instead of what benefit they may bring. The choice is yours now....

We have a family diary which we enlist our life’s list . This is filled-up every start of the year and evaluated every December of that year. On top of the list is our desire to have another car. Our Nissan Sentra has been with us for 3 years now and we enjoyed its comfortability and usefulness. We bought it from our friend and we are the 3rd owner of it. It is still on its top condition since we maintained it well but we desire to acquire a brand new family van or opt for a slightly used cars at a fair price.

Thankful Thursday

I greatly Praise God for the 3rd honor and Best in English awards my first year High school son received last week. His academic scholarship is a great help for us financially. He is studying at Lieceo de Cagayan University ( High School Dept.)

Make-over

Good day to all! My blog is already 6 months old and I am now contemplating on changing my lay-out.It looks so dull in green and the fonts are blurry if it's in normal size. My other blogsite's template is green also so I am planning to change it to something pink or pastel blue. My dilemma is that changing lay-out takes a lot of time and worst, I may be able to delete some widgets which are super essential. What do you think? Do I need a make-over ?

Our greatest Intercessor

No one likes to feel lonely. We try to shake loneliness, but sometimes we can’t. My busiest hour of the day is between 6 am – 8 am . The time for cooking meals for the family and preparing their school needs . Until now, I have no househelp, the latest one went to the province to take care of her sick grand mother. We decided not to get one, anyway household chores are manageable for the moment. All we have to do is to be organized in everything. Like uniforms are already pressed the night before and school needs and assignments should be prepared in advance . We have “To do” list posted on a white board with matching deadlines.

Talking about preparing meals for my kids, if possible provide a insulated lunch tote to maintain the freshness of their food. My kids loves to eat their food while it is still warm. This is best for my little girl’s favorite hot choco milk. Combine their lunch tote with toddler backpack and nap mat. It’s a perfect combination.

We are a family who doesn’t only love to eat but loves to cook also. My brother has a small “Eatery” (others call it fastfood) in their place. He is a musician by profession but stopped working abroad to be with his growing family. I have another brother who worked as “cook” from different restaurants here in our city. He doesn’t have a degree on HRM but was trained by his friend who is a professional cook. My dad? Wow! He’s a lawyer but a superb cook .

Me? Of course, I love to cook. My love for it is also translated in the blogosphere I joined various cooking sites like Food trip Friday and Yummy Sunday. Each week is an exciting experience for me. I do some research on Recipe almost every week. Lately, I have opened a site which is perfect for Food lovers like me. It has thousands of recipes to choose from – Name it they have it!
