A WALK TO REMEMBER

Unlike other children, my kids are not addicts when it comes to playing video games and other online games in the internet cafe. During weekdays they are not allowed to watch TV nor play games in our computer. They can only use our PC for research works and assignments… with our supervision. Playing online games can be very expensive… aside from the per hour charge of computer usage, sometimes they have to buy loads for the games. Why are online games addictive? Because it involves multiple reinforcements or rewards like getting your name on the “hall of fame” or beating your friend’s highest score.

I am not implying here that video games are bad. All games are fun and enjoyable but it depends on the game you are into. Parents should monitor the games their child are playing. Games that will not waste their time and money. For our kids they just play miniclip games.
