A WALK TO REMEMBER

RSS 2.0Supressing My Feeling
Teary eyed I gave my short message to my husband during his birthday party last night. I didn’t expect I was given a part of the program. I was too busy preparing for the food and other stuff that I was not able to read the program. The youth department of our church ( Femmes for Jesus and the Band of Brothers) organized a surprise birthday party for my hubby’s 42nd birthday. The supposed surprise Party was no longer a surprise since during the Sunday Service our beloved Bishop was able to mentioned it! Ouccchhh.. that left a questionable look from my hubby at the keyboard. Because of that announcement the turn-out of the attendance of the program increased which prompted me to look for our toasters and cook some finger foods.
Back to the program… It was such a very memorable birthday for my hubby. The messages from his youth core group , the elders, light house partners and other leaders of the church were very touching and inspiring. I can not help but cry in silent. When it was my kids turn to express their greetings, the more I became emotional hearing their heartfelt, innocent and loving message of gratitude. I wanted to cry… but I might get the attention… so I just suppressed my feelings..huh! To all – Thank you so much . God’s love is made tangible through you.
