Blogging 101 Lecture

I have the chance to talk about blogging yesterday during the The Femmes for Jesus and the Band of Brothers joint gathering . This desire to introduce the blogging to the youth ministry of our church was born out from our desire to help the Church Planting Missionary Team. My hubby observed that their lots of young people in out church who are wasting their time doing unproductive things online so he encouraged them to join me in the blogosphere.

With the little knowledge that I have, I taught them Blogging 101 . How to create a blog, posting good content / keywords , getting good templates and other basic knowledge on blogging. When I discussed about the importance of Page Rank and traffic to a blog, I received many questions. I told them that getting a page rank must not be the first priority for a newbie blogger. As they go along , they will learn how to build links and traffic to their site. Since our time was limited, I just encouraged them to google Search Optimization or seo company so they will learn more about ranking.
