Above are some pictures of my hubby’s Light house Weekly Bible School for Kids. The church re-invented the Vacation Bible School ( VBS) from just a summer activities for kids to a year-round activity. Instead of a one week daily event every May we do it on a weekly basis, every Saturday for 48 weeks. As of now there are 8 weekly Children Bible School in various areas in the city.
I have attended one of its session and I was really amazed at how children enjoyed all the fun activities such as arts and crafts, bible comical skits and games. It’s a fulfillment to see such innocent kids Dance and sing their hearts out .When It’s time for Bible Sharing, I couldn’t believe that in their early age they were able to respond to the Gospel. They were so attentive in listening to the Bible sharing.Wow! We shouldn’t under estimate these little people.
This Saturday will be another day to look up to. How I wish we have all the resources for the drama and skit costumes such as disney, super hero or Scooby Doo Costumes. The costumes that they are using are all indegenous.. but in fairness they can make a good materials out from scrath.

That is really impressive that you have enough dedicated people to run 8 weekly Children's Bible Schools. We have difficulty staffing a 1 week VBS. Children are wonderful witnesses for God. I hope you continue to use this time of blessing well. If you ever have the chance, a post of some of the skits sounds fun. Thanks for sharing.
