Rainy Season is here to stay for long… I guess this will last until the end of the month of February next year. Wow! Rainy season here in our place is quite that long and we have to bear the occasional flooding of streets due to heavy downpour that may last as much as an hour or two. Since we have to get our kids from school in the afternoon, we oftentimes experience the headache of heavy traffic plus the heavy rain. Passing through the main road then to their school, we would go through a lower portion of the road that’s always flooded. It really worries me sometimes knowing that it would affect the car’s engine if I’m not careful.
One thing that I’m concerned too is our exhaust system that may be affected due to prolonged exposure to flood waters. Taking care of our ride is one thing that my hubby does not overlook. He always have our car undergo regular check up, talk to mechanics with exhaust tips to maintain its peak performance. Yes, even if the rain is here, proper maintenance, check up and friendliness always go a long, long way for our car. How about you? How are you going to prepare your car for the rainy season?
