Thank God for the Holiday! Last Friday started the Kagay- an Festival or the Cagayan de Oro City Fiesta Celebration. It was celebrated with major activities such as the Festival Run and Kalo Parade, Kahimunan Regional Trade Fair, Folkloric and PE Rhythmic Dance Competition, Halad sa Lambagohan Golden Mile Fluvial Show, Golden Float Competition and the Cagayan de Oro Beauty Pageant. Various sports, beauty, sing and dance competition and even bingo and online slots were done in barangays. The two largest TV Networks in the country stage also a live entertainment showcasing their networks stars. You can truly feel the festivity in every street corners... as they are crowded with people and vehicles.
The blogger in me can not stop taking pictures, the following are just samples of my photo shots.

Last night we went to the biggest mall in the city. It was only then that I have learned that their is already an electronic casino in Lim ket Kai Mall ( it is beside Ice Castle) . My hubby was curious and we went inside. We saw lots of computers and people were playing online slots. The place looks like an internet cafe , the difference is that instead of playing online games or surfing the net, the people their are playing online slots or online casino games. I was tempted to ask the in-charge how the online slots computers work but the place was crowded and so noisy that my hubby stopped me. Thank God there were no minors inside the establishment. A big notice outside the door was posted prohibiting 18 yrs. old below to enter their premises.
Last week I saw also a Bingo Boutique at Cruz Taal Street. A group of young professionals where ushered by a security guard as they went in.. Once again, I am curious what’s inside the establishment . Are they using the conventional Bingo Card ? Or it is digital this time. I guess the city is already flooded with these game of luck. I hope this will be properly regulated with the Games and Amusement regulatory board of the City. Minors and students should be strictly allowed in this place. Five years ago, the City’s problem was the sprouting of the Internet Cafe which promoted pornography . Thank God, it was stopped. I hope and pray these establishment will not bring problem again to the community. What do you think of this?
