My Dad served as a veteran with the USAFFE during the World War II handling the batteries of Howitzer Canons. He can still brightly remember his experiences during the war. How on that dreadful day of December 22, 1941 the Japanese Imperial forces invaded the Philippines. How the Filipinos struggled to fight for freedom and how the American army headed by Gen. Douglas McArthur rescued the Filipinos and American prisoners of war and liberated our country from the Japanese invaders.
