I just celebrated my 43rd birthday with a blast in the Paradise Island of Boracay .As a token of thanksgiving I launched an Amazing Birthday contest in the blogosphere. I can not help but laugh at some comments posted by some bloggers on my site. Why? Some of them can not believe that I am already 43 yrs old. I love dogs and cats but I hate fleas and ticks as much as I hate cockroaches. This is the reason why I hate when Bubbles ( our dog) is inside our house. Shops! Shops! Shops!
Above are some of our pictures with my hubby as we enjoy the sights, sounds and shops around D’Mall and Talipapa in Boracay. I never thought Boracay has a long strip of boutiques selling various swimwear, souvenir items and RTW’s. Name it, they have it! Even those plus size lingerie are available. I found also my favorite coffee shop and Pizza Restaurant located at the heart of D’Mall. Whew! I cannot wait to be back in Boracay. Wannah come with us?

That’s what we’ve done during our Boracay Vacation. We just can’t resist the sumptuous foods displayed along the food strips of Station 1 to Station 3 … from lobster, crabs, blue marlin , milk fish to prawns. .. name any sea food you know they have it! Our Hotel Accomodation
What’s great about our our Boracay Island escapade is our hotel’s accommodation. It’s a beach front hotel complete with first class facilities like swimming pool, spa , fitness room and fine dining restaurant. Our semi-deluxe room is big enough to accommodate 4 persons ( how I wish we brought the kids with us) .
I love our bathroom and it’s state of the art fixtures like Grohe faucet, hot and cold shower . Thank God for the room’s veranda, wifi signal was so strong that I was able to update my blog sites. I will make a special post on our hotel accommodation tomorrow.

Peace and Security
During our 4-day stay in Boracay, we observed that there were lots of security guards both in uniform and plain clothes scattered though out the beaches , hotels and carious establishments . Maybe , this is one reason foreigners flocked to the Island for their summer vacations. Like Security Guards Wigan, the Boracay Security Guards acts as agent in maintaining peace and order in the area.
A glimpse of Boracay by Night
There are endless fun activities when the night falls on this Paradise Island. When we there for my birthday celebration last July 20-23, I was struck with its beauty not only on daylight but also at night. There are concerts from first class hotels, Sand castle competition and Fire Dance Exhibition along the long strips of Bora's shoreline. At the inner areas are Rock Wall climbing, basketball shooting and other indoor games.
We ended the night walking hand-in-hand feeling the cool breeze of the beach and under the bright full moon. We brought with us our maglite led flashlights... but it was not used since the shore are illuminated from the various hotels and restaurant nearby.
Boracay at night is so romantic... We will definitely be back there!

Adopt the Culture!
When you are in Boracay… go with the flow of the Island Culture like having your hair braided or extended, henna tattoo on any part of your body and of course wearing sexy swimsuits. Ouccchhh the later hurts. As much as I wanted to be a little bit conservative… I was forced to wear my swim suit for our snorkelling,helmet diving and other water adventures. If only I was aware of this, I could have taken weight loss pills months before we went there. Thanks to my hubby’s encouragement, I was able to walk down the shoreline with confidence.

Help! From the 4-day vacation in Boracay, I need a quick weight loss. I just can’t resists the feasting atmosphere in the Paradise Island of South East Asia. Every where you go there are lots of foods to choose . From the small food stall selling tempura and fish balls to the cozy and pricy Italian Fine Dining restaurant. Oh my! Boracay is the home of lobsters, prawns, crabs and blue marlin... for your $5 you can eat all you can from the many restaurants along the sea side. If you are sea food lover... it’s time to conquer Boracay.

Have you heard about Siemens phone way back in the 90's? It was the popular cellphone brand before.. In fact it was the first phone I bought from my first job in 1992. I have heard that Siemens Phone Systems is now back in the communication Industry. I hope it will be available in our city as soon as possible. Watch out for it!
Thanks to Call Recording System
The Call Recording feature of my hubby's cellphone was a great help while we were having a vacation in Boracay. We are here at Mactan International Airport and got 20+ plus recorded calls from my kids and friends. Now , he is busy returning call for them. Thank God we were able to buy a unit with that feature.

Do I look like Bob Marley?
As I have posted yesterday, Boracay Island exceeds my expectation. I never thought that there are lots of fun activities inside this little Island within the Island of Panay, Aklan. I thought all they could offer are their crystal white beaches... I never know there are lots of water adventures like Banana Boat, Fly Fish, Helmet /Scuba Diving, Snorkeling , Bottom Glass speed boat , Jet ski and Para-sailing. They have also high land activities like Buggy Car, ATV, Zip-line, Zorb and Horseback riding. We have been here 3 days already but we haven’t tried yet all that Boracay can offer.
Last night my hubby forced me to have my hair braided as braiding services lined-up the strips of the beach walkway. For P100, you can have your hair looked like that of Bob Marley in 5 minutes! Lol! Oh yes.. Heena Tatoo is a must in the Island but I refused to have one since I’ll be attending a friends wedding so soon and that it could be seen from my silky white dress. The Hair braiding beautician and the the tattoo artist are so expert with their craft that people are satisfied with their services... as if they are graduate of Phoenix cosmetology schools who are an authority regarding beauty. What do you think of my braided hair?

Men are always fascinated with cars! It is a fact that we , the women should always understand. I have known some celebrities and wealthy businessman whose vehicles garage is more spacious that their homes. Some of them collect cars as easy as collecting shoes or watches. Manny Pacquiao for example has lot of luxury cars.. I read from a magazine that every fight he won, he always gifts himself with pricy cars like Audi, Lamborghini and other sports car. Luxury vehicles parades in his mansions in General Santos, Boracay, Laguna, Manila, Baguiao and in California. Willi Revillami also is a car affictionado... remember the controversy over his Ferrari?
Yes! Men are always captivated with cars... my hubby and my son are not exempted. They just love browsing online on the latest models of cars. They found an Audi Dealership site which details specifications of certain models. Of course, we couldn’t afford having one... so they are just contented by collectin vehicle magazines and posters. Today, July 22, marks by 43rd birthday. Others hide their age but me? I am proud to be 43 years old. I greatly thank God for who he is in my life. For his Faithfulness that is new everyone, Peace that passeth understanding, Grace that saved me from the miry pit of darkness and for His unditional LOVE that embraces me everyday!
I greatly thank God for my hubby who has been my best friend for the past 20 years, He is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Today we are in the Paradise Island of Boracay and don't you know that he woke up early 6am and dashed the whole Island to look for a flower Shop. He got one from Station 1 , from a 5-star flower shop!
